die steine ziehen extrem wärme weg, dauert viel zu lange bis die masse aufgeheizt ist, dafür speichern sie die wärme mehr und länger, zum kochen eher nicht praktikabel, der versuch mit einem stahlrohr wäre mal ein vergleich für dich - aber ein toller versuch, gibst ja nicht schnell auf, danke dafür - schöne grüße

The beauty& irony of you making a fire from everything in the woods which if you have ever tried making a fire from a bow& spindle you know...much less MAKING THE BOW& SPINDLE. DV im so impressed. At the summer camp i worked at as a teen it was a challenge to light the campfire with one match. Ive joked about "one match" being a blessing and a curse until i made fire with a bow& spindle kit that was gifted to me@ an outdoor science school. It was difficult in the dry mtns is ca and ur in wet climate. Knowing the woods takes a lifetime. You are a Master..im blown away by this gift youve given the world. then the irony lol of boiling water& having an instant meal. T Keep up w ur infectious humor & brilliant editing. Putting moss into the cracks is not a good idea because when it gets warm with a fire it will naturally turn moldy.

You’re also using way too many bricks four rows of bricks that’s it top bottom two standing up then two nice rows getting skinnier and put a metal plate on the top for your cook area with a aluminum vent, coming out the back going up

You need to stand the first two rows on the bottom bricks upward on their side make the fire brick box bigger and you can’t cook with kindling you need to be able to put two nice size logs in there once you got a bed of Kohl’s to cook

The advantages to your camp chair is it uses less wood than the tripod chairs I've seen, plus one good long log will do the trick. In a survival or long trek to reach the spot that means less energy spent when you feel the need to keep off the ground, Wood ticks, chiggers not withstanding. By knocking off the bark it seems good to go without unwelcome company.
